Byť to jindy dělám opačně, tak u této figurky jsem začal podstavcem. Důvod je pro to prostý - domorodec je bos a proto bude mít nohy zaprášené a špinavé. Jenže prot je dobré vědět, jak vypadá to, po čem chodí. Ulehčeno jsem to měl tím, že v krabičce se vedle samotné figurky nachází i část terénu. A abych zbytečně nemluvil, sestavil jsem příspěvek hlavně z fotografií.
I had to start painting the Native Hunter not with painting the body but with painting the base. There is very well casted base is in the box and I think it's a great help for any painter. We don't have to use it but I think there is no reason why because it is really nice.
Nejprve jsem samozřejmě opět začal černým a bílým primerem ve spreji. Následně pak první vrstvou.
After cleaning and using GW black and white primers I painted the base color.
Jakmile byla tato vrstva suchá, použil jsem washe GW.
As soon as the first layer was dryed, I applied GW washes.
Po jejich zaschnutí jsem povrch zaplavil přípravkem Heavy Chipping (HK) od AK Interactive. Nechystal jsem se sice na imitaci rezavého kovu, ale vyschlé a rozpraskané půdy. A ta je orezlému a rozpraskanému kovovému povrchu velmi blízká, ne?!
Using Heavy Chipping (HK) medium by AK Interactive seemed to me as perfect way how to make cracked surface.
Jakmile HK zaschl, okamžitě jsem na povrch natupoval různé odstíny v nepravidelných polích. Je důležité nečekat a barvy nanést okamžitě.
I stippled four different colous when the medium was dry. There is nothing to wait for. Apply it as soon as possible.
Po odření vrchní vrstvy vypadal povrch podstavce takto:

Dále je možné ještě zopakovat (ale opatrně) použití washe. Ovšem pokud ano, již jen na vybraných místech.
If you want, you can use washes again. But be very careful because you can easily destroyed all you have done so far..
Na samotný závěr jsem si nechal použití pigmentů. Vzhledem k tomu,. že stejné pigmenty mi pomohou zašpinit figurku, nesmíme tento krok vynechat.
In the end I used pigments. It is very important use them because figure's feet will be the dirt make with the same technique - pigments.

A hotovo. Tedy trávu zasejeme až příště. Stejně tak doplníme podstavec i o kus suchého dřeva. Jenže to opravdu až zase příště. Na fotografii jsem si jen figurku na podstavec provizorně postavil, aby viděla, jak asi bude vypadat. Všiměte si také řemínku na pravé ruce. Nakonec jsem se rozhodl, že figurku nechám bez sebemenších úprav.
Done! The grass will be added next time. I just assembled the base and the figure together to see how it could look like, now. Note the right hand of the hunter. I decided to remove the (previously) added ring and let the figure as it was in the box. I even think it looks much better, isn't it?
